Since 1998, we have welcomed children from kindergarten through grade 8. We are a public school, free to attend and open to every family in our zone.

From the principal’s desk
A message from Principal Bennett
Dear families, thank you for trusting us with your children. Whether this is your first year with us or your ninth, I am glad you are here.
I have worked in New York City public schools for twenty years, first as a fourth-grade teacher and later as an assistant principal. The lesson I carry with me is simple: children do their best work when they feel safe, known and challenged.
This year we are expanding our reading program, opening an outdoor classroom and adding family workshops on the first Thursday of every month. Each change began as an idea that a parent or a student shared with us.
My door is open. Stop by the main office, send me a note or catch me at morning drop-off. I look forward to meeting you.
